Culture and Science Prize

At the end of June, in a ceremony during Kiel Week, the State Capital Kiel makes an award to individuals, groups or institutions whose activities are closely related to Kiel or Schleswig-Holstein and who have earned outstanding accolades even beyond the state borders.

Prize winners are suggested by the Land Capital’s Culture and Science Senate – in even years for creative, cultural or culture-promoting work for instance, and in odd years for outstanding scientific services.

The Prize is remunerated with 10,000 euros.
